    Don't bother writing the letter. They don't care. You should've walked the second the finance jerk said it was a dick move to go somewhere else.

    I think it depends... If I could get the same deal elsewhere, then I wouldn't hesitate in walking. Sounds like other dealers didn't want the sale either though, in which case I would have done the same, but make it clear that they will NEVER make another dime off me again. I know when I got my truck (right at the start of this recession) I went to about three dealers who weren't interested in selling a truck before I finally found one that was willing to talk.
