I'm lookin at a Daystar lift kit far my sons truck. It's 2 1/2 in coil spring spacers far front and 2 inch blocks far back. Would it put to much stress on the cv joints on the front.

Spacers give a pretty harsh ride. Your better off saving a little more, and getting a quality lift.

What would u recommend. I don't want to lift it no more than that and void the warranty

Lots of lifts give 2.5" lift. What kind of off roading do you do? Whats your price range? Have you considered all that's involved? At 2.5" lift, you will need new UCA's to correct for alignment issues.

I have a day star spacer lift kit I'm selling. Pm me if your interested. I still have the box and receipt for it . I drove it for a year and it gave me no problems . Just with that spacer I was able to clear 33's with a little trimming and I did a few black diamond trails. I personally owned it and would recomend it if you don't want to spend much on a lift. Good luck !

That's what I'm trying to stay away from doing. I just bought the truck far my sons 16th birthday 2 weeks ago. Got him bull bar, nerf bars and crepek rims and BF Goodrich tires 265 70r 17 far Christmas. Don't rub but need to be raised just a little

That would be good for you . All these people say spacer lifts suck and you can break stuff but I personally owned one and never had a problems and I use truck a lot for wheeling and hunting .

So the 2 1/2 in front and 2 in back wouldn't cause any problem with the CV'S

They make the ride harsh, top plate spacers can cause the shock to break, and without UCA's, the alignment is out of spec. Not only have I ran them, installed them, and compared them to other lifts, but I did so more than many other people. Why lift a 30K truck with a 5 dollar part? Rather than give biased advice, and trying to sell your stuff to the guy, lets see what the answers to the questions I asked are first.

Little this. Little that 4x4 Swap’d PreRunner
UCAs aren't required for 2.5". We do the lift kits for dealerships at my work and we go full 3" with stock UCAs. They align fine.
That being said. Stay away from spacers. You bought a nice truck, save up a bit more and get a nicer kit. Your truck will thank you in the long run.
