Looking for sound advice from experts in the field. I am not a car/truck guy as I grew up on the ball fields. I have recently purchased a 2012 prerunner 2 wheel drive with sport package. I have added the "predator" side step running boards and I have found that I occasionally scrape the bottom of the running boards when hopping a curb.

I am looking to lift my truck 3inches to provide clearance while trail riding during hunting season, and/or curb hopping while parking at the ball field. Also, if I'm honest, a little for looks as well. I do plan to throw some 32's or 33's on it after these tires wear a little.

What's my best option? Looking into skyjacker strut "add-a-leaf" kits due to a recommendation of a friend, plus I like the idea of supporting a Christian organization. Any professional opinions on wether or not I'm on the right track?

Please help guide me towards a system that will do the job without compromising the ride and suspension on the street very much.

I do have the bilsteen shocks on it, came with the sport package.

Let me know if you need any more info to help out.

Please respond or send an email with your response to my email

Thanks in advance for any and all advice.

Are you sure that you are scrapping the tube steps and not the front mud flaps? Because i also have the predator steps and i did a lot of wheeling with my stock height and i never scraped the tube steps.......must be some high curbs you got over there...you might just have to trim the front flaps like a lot of us on here have done

Honestly, I'm not sure. I planned on taking them off. I just haven't had the chance to. Maybe that will fix the problem.

    Thanks for the suggestion.
