Hey I have a 17 DCORSB. I got the ~15 mph rumble strip type vibe after I put in 5100’s with Old Man Emu 888 coils and an add a leaf. I ruled out needle bearing / clamshell issue fix with 4wd, and also tried the ARB OME FK29 carrier bearing driveline drop shims / spacers. Nothing changed. So...I’m going to measure angles but wondering who has the same setup and what degree shims they had to use. Also, do we usually have to shim / wedge anywhere else other than the axle? Thanks.

    I tried, in this order:
    OME CB drop
OME CN drop and 3* shims
    3* shims
None of that changed it. My numbers were good but still have the same vibes as you.
    Now I’m running:
OME CB drop + a 1/16” thick spacer
    3* shims
This had made the biggest difference.
One thing I haven’t tried is no CB and no shims.

Not sure what your OME CB drops measure but I got the best results with making my own shims from 3/4" HDMP plastic. I thinks it's called HDMP but you could make your own out of steal, etc. I stacked washers until above the CB until I got the best results then fabed the spacers. You want to make sure the shafts are running true with each other also. I believe there is a sticky or write up here or you tube on how all the geometry needs to be for best results.

Has anyone had any luck finding a remedy for this vibration after installation of the old man emu kit?

I had a kit installed this past weekend with 886 heavy load coil springs, 90000-P nitrocharger struts, complete leaf springs and 60091 nitrocharger sport rear shocks.

The kit included the driveshaft carrier bearing spacers which were installed however there still is a lot of shuddering / vibration from the driveline.

Looking into possibly some shims below the leafs to improve, but sounds like it hasn’t worked from the earlier posts.
