Advice on possible Tacoma Purchase?

Hey dudes,

I'm new to the site and joined because I would like some advice on a possible purchase. I'm looking at purchasing a 2003 Tacoma XtraCab-V6-5spd-4wd-18,000 miles.(New tires, Leather Tun. Cov., SR5) The dealer is asking $14,800. I'd like to hear the Yay's or Nay's? Or things I should be looking/asking before the possible purchase.

yes, I would be concerned - something's wrong - if your information is correct you could get another $6-8K easily for that truck. Is the mile incorrect? Salvage? Be wary.

 

Have you checked the car fax on it ? Have you drove it yet ?

 

Id be curious about the dealer/ seller. That deal screams "too good to be true." saw a Supra like that not to long ago. it was such a unicorn, it didnt exist.

Thanks guys. Mileage is legit, Clean CARFAX, One Owner, but no I haven't test drove it yet.

 

Thats rare the mileage , yeah ask about being salvage or any rust underneath the frame. Guys here will definitely help you out.

Its possible it was not driven much, my grandmothers 1993 Buick only has 45k.

 

My dad has 60,000 miles on a 2006 and people are offering him ~$19,000. Sounds like you got yourself a deal...welcome!
