    Hey dudes,

I'm new to the site and joined because I would like some advice on a possible purchase. I'm looking at purchasing a 2003 Tacoma XtraCab-V6-5spd-4wd-18,000 miles.(New tires, Leather Tun. Cov., SR5) The dealer is asking $14,800. I'd like to hear the Yay's or Nay's? Or things I should be looking/asking before the possible purchase.

    Thanks.

    A 12yr truck with 18k miles. That's a rare find!

Thanks for the reply Matt. I know its a UNICORN of sorts, being such low mileage,4wd,v6,5sp,no rust, but is it worth it?

Thanks for the reply Luke. Are there particular gremlin questions I should ask before I seal the deal?

    Thanks

yes, I would be concerned - something's wrong - if your information is correct you could get another $6-8K easily for that truck. Is the mile incorrect? Salvage? Be wary.

Id be curious about the dealer/ seller. That deal screams "too good to be true." saw a Supra like that not to long ago. it was such a unicorn, it didnt exist.

    good luck. proceed cautiously.

Thats rare the mileage , yeah ask about being salvage or any rust underneath the frame. Guys here will definitely help you out.

    Looks like a great deal!
