    V6 TRD Debadged
Hi, new to the forum I currently own a 2005 V6 TRD Access Cab. I rolled my truck on the weekend, I am in Alberta Canada I hit some black ice and started fish tailing then hit the ditch and the truck rolled. Luckily both me and my wife were okay with no serious injuries. The truck however was not okay, haven't been told its been written off but I suspect it is.

If it is my plan is to buy a new one (this time a double cab) but I can't decide if I should pay the extra for the TRD sport/premium or just go for the SR5. I know all the differences between the two in the specs, heated seats leather etc. I have read a few of the threads about this on the site.

My main question is with the upgraded suspension. I am not sure if this has changed from 2005 to the current model but my 2005 had really stiff suspension I believe this was accounted to the TRD. I really don't want that again as I believe that was part of the reason we crashed. The road was very icy but I have good truck tires and 300lbs of weight in the box. This had also happened to me 2 or 3 other times but not as bad. Even driving up a steep gravel road to go mountain biking with 4 downhill bikes in the back if I didn't have the truck in 4WD the back end would bounce all over the road. If i had a big load in the box it seemed to run really well. Not sure if the leaf springs are just really stiff or if its the blistein shocks

Has anyone else dealt with this before and do you know if this issue has been changed in the new models?

One other questions the stock tires appear to be garbage on the new trucks as well I assume most people replace them?

Thanks for the help glad to be part of the forum.
