    none so far!
Hey gang, my Kenwood deck install went so smooth that I decided to buy an amp and sub/speakers to add to the mix.

I'm going to install the amp under the driver's seat and use a 4 gauge lead along the drivers side.

It seems like the easiest way to run the wire from the engine bay to the cab is through the spare grommet above the main wiring harness/hood release cable, but it looks like the guys who installed the aftermarket alarm used that hole already.

I'm wondering if there's any problem with feeding the amp cable through that larger main cable gromet, next to that hood release cable?

Don’t damage the grommet. Use something like Windex to lubricant the wires when feeding it through.

Carefully poke a hole in the grommet and slide the new wire through. I just did this yesterday, taping a piece from a metal coat hanger to the wire makes it easy to get it started.

A blob of butyl tape on the new wire will seal up the hole and you will have zero leaks.
