I did some poking around on here but I couldn't locate much info or advice on replacing seats.

I'm a stinkin' mountain biker with stinkin' mountain biker friends and after 185,000 miles my truck smells like a dirty monkey's ass.

Have any of you replaced seats in your Tacoma? My budget is kind of low, around $1,000.

I've seen the racing seats for cheaper but I'll have my truck for another 150,000 miles at least so I need something maybe a little more comfy since I drive a lot.

Salvage yards aren't turning up anything and I've also considered getting both front seats re-upholstered and getting the driver's side re-foamed but that quickly met my budget with labor prices.

    Anybody got some advice?

This seems so obvious that I'm guessing you've already done this, but have you considered having the truck detailed, including a shampoo of the seats, carpet and headliner? That might go a long ways on its own.

I had leather installed in my truck for about $1,500. I added some stuff that drove the price up, so I would think you could get Katzkins or something similar for close to your $1,000 budget.

I'd have it detailed and then throw some good quality seat covers that match your lifestyle. Something like Wet Okole.

Your handle and this being your first post even though you registered months ago make this a win. +1

I'd say go with some katzkins and clean the upholstery foam prior to installing them.
