Stay in a rental for 60 days or take the truck back and risk the expense of needing new tires?

Third Gen insurance scam. There are TWO accidents going on here. The sideswipe and the other that is causing the alignment crab. The OP clearly can't Drive.

OP, invest in some driving lessons while it's being fixed.

Wait... what just happened?? WTF... Ten Pounder needs a time out. ^^^^ That ain't right.

It's an ACCIDENT - shit happens. Have you ever watched Nascar... those are professional drivers! What douche bag.

Soory to the OP for the scrape - it's a truck, trucks get fixed then back to normal. Sorry that being a douche bag many times is a lifelong affliction!

I'd imagine that at such a low speed, any damage would be isolated to the body sheet metal and not the frame. I find it very hard to believe anything would be knocked out of alignment enough to cause premature tire wear.

Why in gods name are you paying for a rental? They should be giving you a loaner free of charge for your business!

That's typically only for warranty claims, not for driver inflicted body damage. I'm not sure of any body shop, including dealers that offer a rental free of charge.

OK how about F1 - Fernando had an accident hit 2 objects (another F1 car and a wall) at 180mph walked away. Shit happens you don't have to rub it in, just sayin.

My dealer gave me a 2014 Highlander with 800+ miles on the clock to use while they put a new front end on my 2006. Free of charge! Because I hit a deer. It's called customer service! BTW I had that Highlander for a week and put 1000 miles on it. If I was in the market for a SUV I would have bought one.

I had damage (more severe) to the same area requiring new bedside, rear door, bumper, etc. (F@#$%&! Deer). Took about a week and a half for all parts to arrive...

Gross. Hope you and any passengers were okay. It's hard being away from your truck that long!

I got my truck back! Fixed and shines like new. Shop called me on Monday and said the part miraculously arrived on Saturday. It feels like home again driving that thing.
