Anyone deal with the leather seat(ing surfaces) that look like this? Dealer said it's normal, but I've owned a lot of leather seats and haven't seen this saggy sort of thing before. Creases, sure, but like puffy and baggy? Not so much.

Looks like a pretty new truck, let it sit in the sun and that leather will shrink up like grandma on the beach.

Yeah these were taken when it was brand new a few months ago. It's been hot AF here and it's been in the driveway so I'll be patient with it to see if it gets better. I think the creases have gotten a little better, but I'm not sure about the sagging. Any idea of how long that should take? Like, the whole summer? A few weeks?

Would applying some Australian Gold to the seats help expedite this?

This is bringing back PTSD from the 80s and the "bronzer" craze. *shivers*

Same here, the smell just brings me back to the beach in the late 80s

In all seriousness though, I would not worry about it too much. I recall my seats looking like this as well when I first got mine. Mine look fine now but have indents from my kids car seats lol.

I’ve used careful application of a heat gun to remove creases in other leather furniture items. YMMV and all applicable disclaimers. Personally, I’d see what a year of solar influence does first.

Sounds good! Thanks all. I'll give it the summer to see how it improves.

I sometimes wish I would have gotten cloth seats instead. The leather quality is is not the best in my opinion.

    It *really* isn't. I wasn't expecting Lexus quality, but...dang.

My "leather" looks nothing like yours since brand new off dealers lot. I'm guessing during production. The worker didn't pull it tight enough ridding of wrinkles.

    Oh look, another mod....
My leather looks nothing like yours. I bought it brand new in Feb 21', so it was very cold out. In fact, Texas just had a record -2 degree day a few days prior, with snow & ice. The leather (not real leather, I know) looked brand new. No wrinkles, sags and it wasn't bunched up.

It's still looks the same and has held up really well. I think you got what they call "A Friday" truck. The assembly line works through it together at the last minute before their weekend was about to start and didn't care about quality checks.
