I want to install a remote start on my 2018 TRD Sport. I have seen a couple of videos on the installation and installing the units seems pretty straightforward. My question is in regard to removing that lower section of the dash. After removing the 3 screws/bolts do I pull straight out? Out and down? Don't want to break any of the plastic fasteners.
    Thanks

Mods: Is this still a Tacoma?
Start at the right side by your ignition and pull forward, then left side by cubby and if ts not all out by then, below by airbag. Total of 5 screws to remove beforehand, 2 behind steering wheel, two below knee airbag, and 10mm hex after popping/peeling back the drivers side rocker (next to driver's left ankle. then let the trim sort've dangle, no need to completely disconnect connectors.

We have videos on our website.
