Our storm last week here in NW MT dropped 3 feet of it in my yard. It settled down to 2'. Another storm is blowing in today with another 3 feet predicted.

It's a knob you turn, not a stick you can slam into 'get me outta here!' :)

But the fact that I'm a noob and asking for advice should supersede the fact that very few people actually gave advice and instead to rally over to me with the calvary. I appreciate it all though and thank you TW for helping

Air down your tires to 12-15psi and walk it up the hill in 4 lo

And if that doesn't work get a running start and pin the throttle and bounce it off the limiter

Forgot to mention if you pull your e brake out 3-4 clicks this will allow enough drag on the brakes that the rear axle will deliver equal power to both wheels . in other words this is called a poor man's locker and it really works

You shitting me? So many people offered advice in many forms, and also asked where you are to come save your ass. There was only so much we could do with the info you gave us. We figured you were smart enough to try 4LO since that’s obvious to anyone, but obviously we were wrong.

Secret property growing / storing secret stuff = let the truck sit till I can get it out myself. Not tellin' no one where my stuff is. 'Cause it's secret.

    Or.

Maybe he thinks all the rescue volunteers are the 'Deliverance' type.

    (You're not are you?)

I believe that was suggested within the first few posts when we weren't getting any responses :boink: Glad you got it out and while I hope there's no real damage could you do something else this evening as that was at least entertaining :crapstorm:

We understood in the first post #1 you were new especially when you stated the truck was new to you I believe. In all fairness alot of us tried to give advice, however, it's a little hard to do so some times if you don't really have some of the particulars of what situation you were in and being busy at the time you weren't able to respond so all we could do was take a stab in the dark, so to speak, and offer very broad suggestions so it wasn't that we weren't trying to help. In the end you got yourself out and hopefully, learned from it. This is a great community with alot of people who want to help when they can. Yes, there are quite a few smart asses , hell even I can be. As a whole though the members really are willing to help. When you ask for help just be prepared for the questions and other than a little joking last night i don't remember anybody making fun of your situation. Welcome to TW btw it can be a great place to be.
