So when I let off the gas when the truck is in gear at speed, there is a slight jerk that happens. I assume this has something to do with the idle/throttle. Where would you start to diagnose this?

Things I've done recently: thoroughly cleaned the throttle body, replaced the IAC and TPS. Thanks in advance!

Is it a drivetrain feeling? I’d check the carrier bearing and ujoints that will do that when decelerating. When you take the load off it happens- replaced my carrier bearing and it stopped

Ah that's interesting as I'm fairly convinced I have a carrier/u-joint issue (shuddering at highway speed) that I planned to fix mid-week. Hadn't thought of that, so thanks @hogeyphenogey !

My transmission mount went out a few thousand miles before where you are now. It would feel weird when I let off the gas, maybe peek at the rubber damper on your transmission mount. If that was the issue Go OEM replacement if you can
