    Hi Guy's,

I am an old school guy. My road of choice is Bull Canyon in Utah. I still have my 2000, manual transmission and transfer case. My new truck is a 2017 TRD Off Road access cab. I had to go to Arizona to get this truck because you can't get them in California. if any of you have any experience with this truck, Please let me know.

    Thank You, Chris

    Hi Chris,

Your post says advice, but your post doesn’t mention what advice you need regarding your truck.
Congrats on the new truck though.

Morning Chris, welcome to TW and congrats on your new truck. I am not sure what advice, but the search function at the top right of the page is a incredible source of information. Also, if you have any specific questions, simply ask and again there are MANY good folks who can help and are very willing to help. Of course, you can get a good laugh here as well.

    Cheers :dancingbacon:

    I agree with this.

If general information is what the OP seeks, look at the sticky in the 3rd Gen Section..... tons of info there.

    If something specific, please elaborate.

Best advice I can give from being on here. If you want anything related to mods, plenty of knowledge here. Anything else, don't read it and just enjoy your truck.

Why not a 4 door cab? Can not be too much over the access cab. In my opinion I don't like any access cabs since they don't have a B pillar which is reinforcement to the roof and sides. Also less torque and sway of the cabin. Looks like a BIG hole covered by a door and half door.

Why not a Dodge? Why not a ridgeline? Why not pizza?

The OP chose his configuration for his own reasons and travelled a distance to get it which says to me that configuration was important to him. I chose AC cab over DC for my own reasons after owning a DC truck for the prior 6 years. We all make decisions for ourselves and they are either good or bad decisions but they are ours to make.

OP I have a ‘17 Off Road AC. What experience or advice were you looking for?

I bought my TRD 4x4 Offroad Access cab in California just have to wait for it. Probably can't buy a 2017 this late in the year as people are looking for 2018 now.
