I get plenty of that everytime I go to Depoe Bay to kayak fish in the ocean. Come back to the truck and I got a new paint job.

I've had the same issues with birds crapping on my truck. I swear its the quicksand color that makes them go, and go and go. I had a gray tundra for nearly 20 years, and they never hit it. Best is to park it inside, or deal with it if outside. Make sure you have a good ceramic coating for paint protection.

Been there, I have a couple of drawstring gym bags, like the ones kids use for school, slap them over the mirrors. When finches attack. I guess you could get any sort of drawstring bag.

I'd need one to cover the entire truck....no section is safe. These birds are equal opportunity crappers.

Not trying to stir anything up . I'm 100 percent serious when I say .

Walk up to the truck . When the bird flies away just out of reach and mocks you . Shoot it .
Find the nest and smash the eggs . Throw the nest away .

I also shoot all the same breed of birds around the house just to be sure . One morning I was up early as usual during a spring a couple years ago . I caught a bird building a nest in the eaves of my house. After getting on the roof and hanging over to remove it on the second floor I was clearing the area of birds my wife came out very upset . I guess my two boys were watching me and woke up mama bear crying ..

    No more birds though .

Yeah he's got one . I'm in Georgia. I grew up in California . Probably have the cops there in 5 minutes for shooting a bb out in CA.

Fun fact: It is a federal crime to kill songbirds like robins, cardinals, finches, etc.
