when reading about the AFE dry filter on totally twisted creations website it says: This Filter Allows For 1” Of Additional Filtering Material, Filter Wrap Sold Seperately.

what exactly is the "Filter Wrap"? anybody order this for their filter, and how much?

    http://www.totallytwistedcreations.com/html/afe_filters_0.html

do they have a phone number? couldn't find one...

sorry I don't have a phone # for Glen/TTC...but just give him an email and he'll get back to you shortly...

    E-mail TTCCustomerCare@att.net

Glen is really good about price matching things...just ask him if he'll be able to hook it up for the same price...

Got mine in 2 days from URD. Gadget offers outstanding customer service! I'll install it this afternoon. It's a little bigger than the TRD cone so it may flow better. We'll see. I'm just glad I don't have to deal with filter oil anymore.

Well it looks like the 21-90044 is still available from Amazon.com they just sent me an Email that the filter shipped. The bad part is that the 21-90045 also shipped today! LOL!
So I guess I'll have 2 of these filters. One six inches tall and the other one seven inches tall.

    We'll see which one I like better.:D

INFO: The 21-90044 is the EXACT replacement for the TRD CAI!

The 21-90045 is a bit over sized but will fit also!

Well I got the 21-90045 AFE filter in today and it fit great! Bigger than the TRD one but fits snug into the box!

I can feel an improvement in air flow and throttle response. (But my TRD filter was dirty)
So not sure if its just a clean filter!:D

Same here. My TRD filter was clean though. I actually got about 10 more miles to my tank of gas. So far I'm impressed and glad I made the purchase. If my fuel economy is better that makes me happy. I drive a lot! I'll use my GPS and keep an eye on it.
