    i think ur borla sounds like my old cobalt ss with an exhaust on it sounds like a car to me but maybe its the video.

    If I'm in a parking lot and keep it in first gear, if I get up to maybe 5-6 mph then let up, it gurgles and slight blackfire sounds something nasty. Every person I've drove with loved when I did that in a parking lot and it gets a lot of attention.

    X2 :). Borla was actually my first choice, but I ended up getting the aero spur of the moment just to mix it up and try something new.

    Not trying to revive an old ass thread but I'm researching mufflers before I buy. The post before this sounds nice but when he lets off the gas it sounds like it would have an annoying ass drone.

    Can't decide between the Dynomax Super Turbo, Wicked Flow, or the Aero Turbine. I've read that the Dyno had the best results after being dynoed.

    My 2006 4.0 is all stock except the muffler itself and I love the sound... Definitely not a v8 tho, I would know cuz I used to drive '67 v8 mustang with full exhaust, no THAT is power haha... I have a sound clip of mine for ya...

    Do you have the 2525 or the 2525XL? I had the straight 2525 on my jeep and love it, no raspy sounds. The company recommends the XL though...

    Canopy, fitted seat covers, OBA with self leveling air bags, 100w solar, dual Rhino Rack Pioneer platforms, side & rear LED work/FU lights, CB, cell booster. 7x16 cargo conversion, 3" lift, 7'x6.5' fold down aluminum rear deck.
    My truck has a AT2525XL, and DTLT headers. At idle and cruise, it sounds nice and I have had people ask me if I had a v8. However, at WOT it sounds like a pissed off weed wacker. Eventually, I'll try adding another resonator just to see what it does.

    I had the 2525 and loved it. No rasp, but I did get in-cab drone. The 2525 XL has the internal resonators that is supposed to eliminate the drone. Anyway, I ended up adding an external resonator by Aero Turbine which got rid of my drone and also lowered the pitch of the exhaust note a bit. I probably should have gotten the XL to begin with.

    I have the 2525XL with a downturn before the rear axle. The drone gets pretty bad because of that. If I ever decide to change it I'd chop it after the rear instead.
