From what I've been reading it seems this change effected all of the 2009+ Tacomas. This really isn't a big deal, it's just a matter of getting once i.d. As soon as I get one in our shop it'll be corrected.

Just give me the go-ahead and I'll put you on the list (first post this thread). If you have a 2.7L or 2009+ there is no obligation to buy until we confirm that trans temp will be supported.

    Todd,

I'm very interested in this gauge. The main reason I want it is to be able to read the Transmission Temperature's in my 05 Tacoma Pre-Runner 4.0 V-6

Will this gauge be able to read the Transmission Temperature in my 2005 Tacoma? If so count me in for the group buy

    RED/Black display-Black Face/Black Bezel For me Please 4.0 V-6

Todd, add me to the list, but it's contigent on verification that this works as advertised on an 09+ 4.0.

WoW! Only 4 people in this group buy? The Interceptor gauge seems like such a great product, thought more members would have jumped in and taking advantage of the group prices

This is the perfect tool for servicing our transmissions, Easy way to tell the Trans Temp when doing the Trans fluid level check

No more having to get the truck into Trans Temp Mode:)

Can you add me to the group buy? I drive a 2009 pontiac vibe (matrix). Don't worry guys I know it is my first post and all but I'm good for it (check my ebay name for feedback).

    Jason,

I'm pretty sure Todd said this group buy is only for Toyota...

This. The internals are identical, it's just different sheet metal and steering wheel logo. The int would work a peach as it's still the 1ZZ-FE/whatever the "high end" engine is under the hood.

It was also built in the NUMMI plant next to the Tacoma. I have the GT model which has the Toyota 2.4l 2AZFE engine. Almost everything in the car is made by Toyota. I ended up with the Pontiac because I was able to buy the high end model for $2k less than the comparable Matrix.

Too bad the NUMMI plant shut down.

I still have not found a 2009+ to stop by, and this looks like the only way we can figure out how to get trans temp to read on these. I've been taking guesses and shipping out prototypes but none are working.

For those with earlier years that want to proceed, I'll give you the $209 price. I want to reiterate that there is not risk, if you have any problems we'll reflash the gauge at no charge. Toyota is an odd bird, so many variations of code for different vehicles/model years, we cannot test every one but at this point it looks like all 2008 and earlier are covered.

There must be an owner of a 2009+ on this forum that could stop by, do any of you know of someone in the Cleveland area? Should I post in the general section requesting a volunteer (is that appropriate?). I'll give them a gauge for their trouble.

To place your order, please paypal $209 plus $10 shipping (continental US) to our account, sales@aeroforcetech.com. If you want any of the options (brushed aluminum bezel, custom logo face, etc. please add that to the total. You can view these on our "Accessories" page here:

    Todd,

I just received my Areoforce Interceptor gauge today for my 05 Toyota Tacoma Pre-Runner 4.0 V-6

The gauge IS NOT reading the Trans Temps

What do I need to do for this to read trans temps?

I thought the 05's were good to go for the trans temps...

    Thanks for any info...
