    I personally don't mind the intake. Daily driving you barely hear it unless you romp on the gas all the time.
    Once in a while i do just to remind me that it's there.
    I mainly got it because of the washable filter.. I was going to opt for a drop in filter with stock intake but I got a good deal for the Afe used and the price difference was negligible so why not.
