I've noticed since I put my drop in filter in, when I turn my truck on I can hear it rumbling around a little and it doesn't seem too tight in there. Also, when I took it out to clean it I noticed quite a bit of dust around the edges around the seal. Is this bad?

It sounds like you don't have it 'seated' in there properly.....

Take it out and try to reinsert it in there. It should fit pretty tightly againest the sides to prevent anything from getting past it.

x2! Those things can be a pain in the ass! It took me a few tries to get the intake hose to flex enough to move things around to take the box off or put it back on. Seems like the plastic has softened up a bit with age too. It's easier now than I remember when I first got the truck. :D
