I used to use K & N drop ins. Bust stopped after reading a lot of bad press. What about AFE dry drop ins? Or should I just keep the OEM? And do any of the AFE intakes actually do anything? Oh and are they legal In Mass

A lot of people around here swear by the AFE Pro Dry S. I don't have one myself (it's on my to-buy list). Also, some people say nothing changed with the Pro Dry and switched back to OEM. So really I am not much help but people seem to like the Pro Dry.

Unless you are making some major modifications such as forced induction, the OEM fiber filter is the way to go. They offer the best filtration for the longevity of the engine.

Have the pro dry in all my vehicles. Don't know about hp, but mileage went up a little.

I honestly dont think aftermarket drop-ins are worth it. Id say stick with OEM.
