I installed the intake in 2015. Very satisfied with product. A few things i want to mention and also i want to find out if anyone else came across the same issues.

After 2 years the 2 couplings had cracks. AFE replaced that for free because it was under warranty.

I lost a few bolts. The mount that the filter clamps on has 3 bolts. 1 was missing the other one was lose. I used some thread lock. 2 bolts from the filter cover where missing. I used some dress bolts I had from my motorcycle. 20170804_174334.jpg 20170804_174340.jpg

Did anyone had those issues? Other than that good product.

    A thing or two...
I just run an AFE drop-in filter on my 08.

In 6yrs, i replaced the couplers 1 time.
Thats it. Never lost any hardware.

Make sure the bolts that hold it to the engine bay pun h thru the undercoating... if theres an wiggle room, the washers float at high rpm and u get a terrible metallic noise. Simple test, open lid.... push down on the bottom of housing... washer drop? Tighten more.

No issues with the bay bolts. I will check them though. Good looks. I put some thread lock on the other ones.
