So for the loose gravel/ruts etc. Definitely air down.... it takes the majority of the chatter out of the road. Get a potable compressor ($100) that hooks up to your battery after or hard wire it to a switch so you can air back up for the road after.

And for the deep whoops that can get all 4 tires off the ground I'd say to use that pedal on the left before getting to them. (Or in the middle if your a 5 speed)

Reason being is that for 1600 total you aren't going to be able to get a F/R LT setup... not even close really.

After airing down and seeing how that rides I'd say you have three options. Keep it how it is and air down/up etc, pickup a descent mid travel setup if you can find the parts used (on good deals), or option 3 would be to save your DOLL HAIRS if you want something that's gonna be able to handle the deeper whoops without getting buck wild:D

    But that's just my 2cents

Alright thanks for your input I will keep it in mind and start looking to an onboard air setup

Usually not too much, just my softopper and Hi Lift. If you get them with the AAL I have heard they do pretty well.

AllPro has their Expo Leaf pack that is built to handle a lot of weight.

Gonna have to move the front hanger 6-8inches I believe for the Chevy 63 pack and also relocate the shocks. Cycle everything etc

Relocating the shocks is the only part that intimidates me as I'm worried I'd end up making them bind

Nice part about the allpro pack is that they are factory length so you won't need to relocate the hangers.

Hence the cycling part. I'd say search around on the site along with some others to get a good idea of what the whole swap requires in reguards to where your not making the shock your bumpstop or over extending it and also bumping in the right place and shackle angle making sure it's not negative etc

I'd get a decent spring pack and look for used coilovers. Kings come up often in socal on CL - not sure where you're located, you should put it in your info at the top of the screen under where it says You>Personal Details then we can help you better if we see local deals and it will be in all of your posts.

Homebrew bumpers and sliders, 5100s & Eibachs up front and mutt leaf pack out back, 285s & Wheelers type B, sway bar deleted. Wife's ride: 01 4Runner 4wd sport. Stock with exception of TRD taco coils, and shift kit.
If you're going fast and don't care about crawling/mud I'd definitely go spring under out back. Heck I've considered it and all I do is (try to) crawl. Watch the 3rd gen taco build on dirt everyday on youtube. It's only a month or so old currently.

My 5100/ebiach combo feels good when a fire gets toned out and I'm driving 40mph on my 1/2 mile driveway. I know there is better set ups but I just can't justify them yet.
