    2) go to ur setup of screens on unit and find option where it says "return home screen or something like that" disable that its a checkmark and it will stay on screen you select.

same here, my only issue with the audio is not being able to change channels from the steering wheel. its nice that it jumps from your set favorites, but sometimes i like to just go up and down one or two channels and that knob is sensitive.

Not sure if this is relevant but I've found that keeping a stylus or keeping my right index fingernail a bit longer helped in me making selections on my touchscreens.

Just because it was a lot of money for you to spend on a truck, does not mean that Toyota charges a lot of money for these trucks. You cant have everything in the world. Tacoma’s always have had the highest resale value, and not because they were the most technologically advanced.

If you want fancy gadgets for reasonable price, get a Dodge, and then buy another one in five years after that one disintegrates. But hey you will get even more gadgets in five years.

Brandon, I had same issue with Nav screen.
Go to Apps - Navigation- settings- there is a box to un-check that says auto return to home screen

Yeah, wish you could just cycle the xm radio channels without having them preset. I ended up having all my presets set up and tabbing through them.

I get the dependability. However, with a sticker price at $38k - one would think their engineers thought about said added value.

Sticker at 38 but what did you actually pay? You can still buy Single Cab F-150s with CRANK UP windows, steel wheels, no tow package, monochrome dash info screen and a tiny tiny infotainment screen and it has a sticker of 35k.

I think you get plenty of value out of the Tacoma...

I don't disagree. The value is there. American's just want more value for their money. You know this.

Toyota knows what americans want. You want your steering wheel to tilt more? fuck you, what you really want is a go pro mount!

Want cooled seats because you live in a desert? NO, YOU WANT STANDARD HEATED MIRRORS!
