Just OR currently. First successful fitment was on a Sport, and I believe all others who have shown them mounted have been OR.

I really wish it was this easy , but my guess is that there was a manufacturing change at some point ... and they will be mixed across the trim levels until they run out of the older squared off lug. I'm clearly speculating, but glad we have the feature isolated.

I didn't bring my laptop home this weekend, but @Axxra took very good pictures. When I get back to work on Monday I can model the collar up and color code the areas that require attention, or just use his pics and circle stuff using mspaint.

I run an FJ60 4 speed shift knob with my 6MT. It's not the same pattern but who cares. I never look at it anyways. Gives the truck an old school Toyota feel. love it. And was only $20 at the dealership.

2017 SR 5-speed, build date October 2017. The knob does not fit. I think the lugs need to be thinner and I have the radius on the 6 o'clock lug as well. I'll try filing it to see if I can make it work.

The craftsmanship of the knob is fantastic though. I love the look, and the weight has helped with my shifting. Props to @7r41lbr34k3r for putting his energy into this project.IMG_20180210_152343246.jpg

My lugs are about 1/64" thinner than all the others ( due to operator error), and the collar has a lot of wobble.

You just need to either chamfer the lug (which seems to be Toyota's fix), or shave the ratty looking plastic away from the collar.

It really does look like a break line ... so every collar will be different.

Chamfering the lug for clearance will get it in there for sure.

You guys are being incredibly patient with me, words cannot express how much that means to me.

Development can be a bitch, but we'll get it.

Patience is not an issue...lack of a thesaurus is tho, WTF is chamfering? Dammit Jim, I'm a computer geek, not an engineer!

Haha, it's just a term for breaking a sharp edge with an angle. Breaking an edge with a radius would be a fillet.

15 minutes with the file from my Leatherman multitool has yielded a working fit. Now I just need to find something to orient the knob.

Ok, here is the interfering feature, bottom picture highlights what I am talking about in green. Notice how the finish looks jagged. I'm guessing this is a break line ... looks like that is from a channel in the mold so they can make a bunch at a time that are all connected to each other. Mine was jagged from the factory, not sure if this particular one was modified or not at the time of the picture.

And here is the modification to the driver side lug to clear that area ...

I wish I could show more of the aluminum knob shown above, somebody came up with a really good idea to engrave on the side ... looks killer. I'll leave the reveal to the customer though, because it is the right thing to do.

Looks great ! Excellent idea with the engraved sides, I went ahead and updated my own knob after I made yours.

Yep, this was the first shipped with a chamfered lug.
