shouldn't happen, might wanna check your wiring and make sure you didn't tap into a wire you're not suppose to

I'm not an expert in this realm, but I can tell you we'd need more info. What brand is the remote start, how did you wire it (were there instructions), etc...

Can you start it manually? if you can, it's likely not wired properly. If you can't start it at all, then you may have shorted something during install.

Search around here for the factory wiring diagram (or via google), don't get the Haynes or Chilton "wiring diagram" you need the factory one. Then you can start to trace the wires from the park switch on the shifter to where ever it goes.

Agreed, we have double and triple checked. Reinstalled another one and are still getting the error. The remote start is a Excalibur

Yes, It starts all the way it should with or without the remote start. After about 100 mile the engine light comes on even after being reset. When I take out the fusses on the remote start, I have driven 350 mile and the error does not occur.

I would like to know why you haven't posted any details on what this remote starter? It should even be this hard unless you did tap into the wrong wire, seriously. The remote start doesn't need to be connected to the transmission so why would your solenoid through false codes? All coming down to wiring.

In any case your neutral safety switch has some how been bypassed the signal the ecm looks for

With out a print of how things were done we are all guessing .

Then it might be unrelated to the remote start
