    Probably more than the engineers. Look on the 2019-2021 Tundra trucks. I actually know some Toyota engineers and totally agree.

    Glad GM has stayed with Allison. The external spin on filter is easy and effective.

    Generally, I would mount almost any cooler of that style with the inlet at the bottom and the outlet at the top.

    I’ve seen some coolers, instead of end tanks it has C shaped pipes, so it flows across one row, makes a U turn and flows across the next, repeat.

    Maybe that cooler has an air pocket, maybe. You could use an IR thermometer to check.

    I live about 20 minutes from Earls. They have a shelf filled with coolers that people ordered & never returned to pick up, discounted. So I got a great deal on one, another I paid full price.
