    '04 TRD 3.4l 4x4 5sp manual Xtraca & '96 4runner 4x4 5spd manual
    with the wheels off the ground, I put a pry bar in this area between the LBJ bolt and the LCA. You can leverage it up/down that way and see if the ball joint has up/down movement

    there was a video online awhile back of a mechanic doing this to a 3rd gen T4R with bad LBJs, where I got it from
