Tried it on the drive home yesterday. Did not work. Which actually makes it more frustrating. lol.

BUT Sgt. Tee, I did turn my screen on for a bit just for you. This is where my time normally displays on the upgraded JBL entune. 60792680_310554966494923_4663443436655869952_n.jpg

I'd check your settings then. Should be in there somewhere.

The idea of a clock is indeed a touch of class. I remember the old Infiniti commercial where the dash centerpiece was the clock and it looked amazing. Great idea, I think!
In this digital age everything looks so cold and sterile, that's why I'm still fascinated by a touch of wood trim in dash and doors and an analog clock is just that...a warm feeling!

He has much better taste than this.

He's on Hodinkee quite a bit if you want to see his collection.

    Working on it ...
That dash looks awfully familiar. Looks like right out of my 2002 TRD off-road :D Yes, The clock on that truck was in a terrible spot behind the steering wheel. I had to go through minor contortions in order to see it and if the sun was out it was hard to see it as it was not the brightest. Oh the memories.

    Everyone is annoyed by this.
No idea why they did not include a clock which is important in a car.
Even my lexus with nav has a separate digital clock.

Many moons ago I had a Volvo 240 wagon that had a very cool (and quite large) Swiss made analog dash clock. The one in my car quit working so I went down to a local pull-a-part junkyard and found a wrecked Volvo that had the clock in it. I put 12 volts on it to verify that it worked and I took it up to the office to see how much they wanted for it. The counter guy said "Those are $600 bucks new from Volvo (he was right); how about $300?" I laughed and said that it was just a clock and that I could not see paying that much for a used part that is not critical to the car's operation. He asked what I thought was a fair price and I said $25 bucks. He counted back with $40 and I said deal! :)

Did anyone find a clock that would fit into Meso's Tacopods? I looked at the Zada Tech that he recommended and saw this one...

...but wasn't sure if it would actually fit.

To be honest, I'm not even sure how to wire it up. Would anyone know how this gets wired, so that it's on when the vehicle's on and off when the vehicle's off?
