Has anyone used or still have a aftermarket cold air intake system for there 2.7L Tacoma? I’m curious to see what other people’s results are before purchasing one, but if anyone could share there experience of having one it would be appreciated.

I have no experience with one, and I need no experience with one. The stock intake on the 2.7 gets cold air, and is gigantic for 158hp. There is very little to be gained on that front.

Aftermarket intakes have offered very little if anything at all for most vehicles for many many years.

Most of the cold air intakes I see relocate the intake into the engine bay where the air is a lot warmer, hot even. And then call it a "cold air" intake lol.

The stock intakes on these trucks are in a good spot, pulling air from the in the fender outside of the engine bay. Only way you're going to get cooler air is if you put a snorkel on and draw air from up by the windshield. Or a CAI like what URD sells where the intake gets moved in front of the grill.
