    My 2005 prerunner had frame failure Aug 2024
    Has anyone every installed an aftermarket cruise control system in their 2005 Tacoma Prerunner. if so are there any links here in TW . i searched but couldn't find any.
    also am i better off aftermarket or going to a wrecking yard and ripping one out of a wreck and installing?

    OEM is so simple and cheap there is not really any reason I can think of to even do aftermarket unless you just want to make it more difficult and run a bunch of wiring for no reason. Stalk, st wheel side cover for stalk, spiral cable wire - simple.....even if needing the clutch switch if manual trans = 1 more piece to buy and plug into existing wiring. Still no big deal. Would not ever consider aftermarket for this myself.
