Looking for information on the following:

Do Husky/Weathertech floor mats move around like the OEM 2016 passenger floor mat? There are no floor mat clips in the 2016 truck and I am curious if the increase engagement area of the aftermarket mat keeps it in place better than the OEM one which travels like a crawling baby.

If it moves, I will buy the 2018 version of the mats and somehow retrofit some clips into the pass side.

    Thanks,

My husky mats came with two carpet screws for the passenger side mat because there isn’t any clips over there. But the mat is also larger and more form fitting, I haven’t put the carpet screws in yet and haven’t noticed much sliding

Got Husky for my 2017. Passenger side came with two studs that screw into carpet. I was a little skeptical about how secure it would be, but it seems rock solid so far.

I prefer the huskys over weathertech because they are a rubber and sit nicer. My wife has them in her Acadia and they don't move at all.

I've had both in my Tacoma, prefer the Husky mats too.

I worked for a dealership. When a car that came in on trade we were told to take the weathertech mats out and throw them away.
Why you may ask. They were warped and weren't formed anymore when you bought them new. Now if they came with the husky liners we kept them in. Only because they were more of a rubber material.
