Looking at replacing my front bumper with an aftermarket/offroad one. I realize a lot of them are made for heavier suspension setups. I'm hoping to buy one that will work with my setup which is the Old Man Emu setup including:

    -2885 Front Coil Springs
    -90000 Front Struts
    -CS047R Rear Leaf Springs
    -N182 Rear Shocks
    -FK29 Driveshaft Spacer
    -U53A U Bolt Sets
    -Icon Upper Control Arms

    Any ideas? Thanks!

I have OME 885's and an older allpro plate bumper craigslist find running 265/75R16 W no issues. Front sagged about 1/2 in at most, didn't measure. No winch though. Will be putting on 1/2 top plate spacers when the weather gets nicer but mainly for looks, works fine the way it is. Was advised, I believe Wheelers, that going to an 886 would give a rougher ride so go with a spacer. I'm happy with the ride I have now. If I get A winch that may be a different story.

Get one of the plate aluminum bumpers. Costs a bit more, but is just about the same weight as the factory bumper.

The bumpers are not made to go with the heavier suspension, rather the suspensions are made heavier to support the weight of the bumper and other aftermarket items.

aluminium is going to be the best option but will gouge easier.
