I put in aftermarket halo headlights and ran them off of my running lights, swapped I'm bigger tires went up to a p225/R75.
I installed spyder halo headlights on my 1998 Toyota tacoma I spliced into my running lights to power the led halos, now when I hit my brakes both my halo and running lights come on and when my headlights are on my cruise control doesn't work. What could be the problem? I pulled the fuses and checked the wiring everything looks fine.

I don't see the relationship headlights/cruise control. Does the cruise work fine headlights off?

Yes when the headlights or off the cruise control works but when I switch them on while cruise control is on, cruise control disengages.

    Clearly, the wiring isn't "fine".

I would remove your splice and see if the problem persists. You may have shorted a wire without realizing it.

there was a post about something like this, it's a short somewhere engaging the brake light causing the cruise to disengage, I'll try searching

One more detail: if marker lights (the light switching stalk in mid-position) your halo should be on, headlights off. Does the CC work then? If not I would look into one of tail lights not having ground. If tail light is not grounded the tail (red) light is leaking current back to stop light and that might feed CC module thinking you pressed brake.
