I just bought a 2012 DCSB SR5 a few weeks ago and need to replace one of the headlamps. Since it would cost me roughly $300 for an OEM replacement, I'm wondering if I should just go ahead and swap them both out for black or smoked aftermarket lights. I've read quite a bit on here about issues with aftermarket lights not being reliable and some being prone to leaks. Are there certain brands that are safe to go with? Or are you pretty much rolling the dice with all aftermarkets?

    Hi congrats on your truck!
I'm on my second set of cheaper aftermarket light assy's, they both get moisture in them.
They were both in the 100-150$ range from Amazon. I'm gonna try sealing the better set again.
Stock lights are much better in my experience and I wish I'd had put that money towards a used set here.

I just got some TYC brand lights. They are pretty legit. I don't plan to BHLM this time around because I don't see a point in it, but they are very well built all around and resemble OEM's feature in nearly every possible way. So far so good, and it has been POUNDING rain outside since I installed them. No moisture.

Light diffusion is excellent as well.
