I apologize as I am sure this has been dealt with on this forum but I can't find it. My son's 2009 basic Tacoma (4 cyl/5 speed) needs new headlight assemblies (cracked/hazed). There are obviously a ton of aftermarket options, some quite cheap (buyer beware, I know...). Are any of these acceptable or am I better off to find my best deal on genuine Toyota? Looking to get another 4-5 years out of this truck. Many thanks!

These are definitely beyond refurb. Need to be replaced for sure...

I would stick with oem. I replaced mine on my 10 last year there were also hazed and cracked looked like a egg shell. Got new ones now and I clean and polish them frequently with plexus plastic cleaner

There have been many posts regarding the poor quality of aftermarket headlights. Check the for sale section here. I picked up a pair of minty factory lights for $100 just last week.
