I see the blinker reflector. I see the led bar. I see the projector. But what’s that reflector bowl in the center for?

Plug for main headlights and DRL

LED light bulb plugs into this receptacle (top of pic)and wires get pushed in then twist receptacle tight.

That is definitely not the right receptacle to plug LED connector into. ...........You don't have a twist on receptacle on housing?

The gray part that you unpluged that gray harness from needs to come out of your stock housing. Twist it a quarter turn counter-clockwise and then pull out. Plug the gray harness back into it and then pull the little bulb out of the other end. You should be left with a long gray plastic part that will have two contacts that that small red piece plugs into. It's not explained very well and it first when I installed mine I thought I had something wrong too but it works if you do it the way I described. It needs to come with better instructions and possibly diagrams to explain this part since it's not super intuitive.

Unlike the stock housing these housings use one bulb for low beam and one bulb for high beam. The low beam bulb goes in the projector housing on the left in that photo and the housing on the right with the reflectors is for the high beam. It has dual H11 bulbs and turns the high beam one on or off. The factory housing just uses a single dual filament bulb that turns one of the filaments on or off.

That's what happened to me too. I unplugged that harness and stood looking at both with a stupid look on my face for what seemed like a half hour. Then it dawned on me what they were trying to do so I pulled the little amber bulb part and sure 'nuff... what I was left with plugged right into that red thingy and boom! Worked perfectly. They really do need to include some more detailed instructions about this part specifically though as it's not exactly "plug & play" from the traditional sense of the phrase.

I’m extremely tempted to get these but told myself I wouldn’t buy any more truck stuff. Maybe I’ll wait till next payday and if they’re still there, I’ll grab them. Otherwise it’s BHLM and Ultimate Headlight Upgrade for me.:facepalm:

They're nice headlights but not sure I'd buy them at full price. $100 off I couldn't pass up. Maybe they wI'll have another sale soon?

Possibly. They seem to come and go.

I got mine a couple months back when they had $100 off and that's the driving factor for me too. That and I read good reviews because I was not going to get aftermarket headlights based on the track record of negative reviews on all the previous iterations of them. Based on the reviews of these it seems like someone may have finally got it right. It has all of the features I was looking for and is backed up by solid reviews and a decent warranty so I figured why not.

I had a set of retro lights that needed polished and I decided I didn't want to mess with it. Made a good deal to another member who was willing to put in the time to polish them up and invested in these instead. I sure hope I don't regret that decision but sometimes in life you have to take a chance.

My only complaint is the low-beam performance is "meh" at best. If they came with a nice HID or LED H11 low beam for a few bucks more this would be the perfect replacement for OEM housings assuming they hold up long-term and don't fog up or crack/craze over.

Have you considered putting a higher wattage halogen bulb in the projector?

For me it was a big improvement since my truck still had the stock OEM headlights that were subject to the extended warranty for "BURNT DRL Lenses" but prior owner failed to get them replaced. They are much brighter all around and no worries about torching my headlights.

I've considered all of the above (I actually prefer the higher gauge wire harness & higher wattage halogen bulb method but there's no high wattage H11 bulb options) but unfortunately they all void the warranty. I want to make sure the housing holds up before I go voiding warranties.

How about lets see some output shots shooting down a dark road or something? They look good but do they perform?

I can definitely agree with the output of the low beams. Its okay but I definitely lost light output from my old reflector housing (which was bright as all get out) so I’ll probably upgrade my foglights

How is the output with these? I had aftermarket headlights in the past and while they looked cool they sucked for driving. My ‘11 lenses are getting tired and cracking at this point.
