    I am looking into replacing my stock 2005 tail lights with the 2009+ style (just look better in my opinion).
    Newer ones are LED, is this a direct plug and play or is there wire splicing I will need to do?

    I know they will fit but I just want to make sure the bulbs and sockets fit. Will I need different bulbs? I may be overthinking this but I just want to know before I purchase... after all, that's what this forum is for right :thumbsup:

    The actual bulbs are the same (reverse, turn), the brake / tail is an LED module on the new style but it's harness is compatible with the old harness. Plugs right in. You need nothing but the replacement tail light assembly.
