Aftermarket locker question

    So....if I have a prerunner, and would like to have more off road capabilities, is it worth it to get a locker like a ARB locker for my rear? or even front? Or is it just better to trade in my truck and get a 4x4?

    Seeing the third gen section forced me to get a Ford...
    a locker would help, but there may still be instances where 4wd would be better, ie no traction at rear wheels but front is on solid ground.

    If you can swing it - Get a 4X4

    If your avatar is you playing in the mud, you're gonna want all the traction capabilities you can get. Even after having 4X4, you can add lockers and be even more capable.
