    I'm glad that all you guys with aftermarket parts are happy with them. Please get back to me when - or if - they last longer than your OEM parts did. That's the only real test I go by.

    When I was looking at this a year or so ago, I asked my local offroad shop (Cruiser Outfitter) their advice. They recommended OEM for my set up. And the originals lasted pretty well. The new ones have given me no trouble.

    That seems like a valid argument, here is what I found on brands on my list:
    • MOOG - 36m, ~$100
    • DELPHI - 12m, 12k miles ~$100
    • BECK/ARNLEY - 36m, 50k miles $112-135 (left-right)
    • ACDELCO - limited lifetime whatever that means ~$116
    There is also Mevotech, but that brand doesn't sounds good to me, it's ~$115-120 and has limited lifetime warranty (5-years, 60k miles). Or am I wrong about "MEVOTECH" brand?

    Those are RockAuto prices per side, in USD, shipping extra.

    If they cost 1/5 of oem, no one is expecting them last longer than oem. Let’s be realistic. But if they last half as long, that’s a win.

    I wouldn't hesitate with BECK/ARNLEY. They sell quality stuff. most of their parts are from OEM suppliers with their label on it.

    I put BECK/ARNLEY control seems on a Lexus and they were using thicker stamped steel than the aftermarket ones that were on there.

    Bought a timing belt tensioner for a Honda odyssey and it was made in japan.

    Just ordered Beck/arnley pads/rotors for a Hyundai, the pads were OEM made on Korea, and the rotors are nice high carbon steel alloy that can take some abuse.

    I fix cars on the side so I play with a lot of aftermarket companies, this is one of the companies I default to and I know I can trust them.

    Moog nowdays isnt as good as they used to be. I know a lot of people rave about Moog, but they're not what they used to be and a lot of the raving is based off what people used to say 10 years ago. They're kind of a mediocre brand and I'd choose them over cheap Chinese shit, but they're not the best in the market.

    Delphi and ACdelco are both GM. After working at a GM dealership for a number of years I became a devout disbeliever in their products so I just avoid them because you really don't know what you'll be getting in non OEM applications.

    Op, I do not know your skill set or tools you may have available but for quite awhile I have rebuilt a number of LCAs using OEM parts. The bushings can be had from a number of discounters like bochtoyotasouth, and others but the ball joints were a bit of a challenge since Toy goes to great lengths to make you buy the whole arm for big$$$ and hides info on the ball joints. And no they are not Moog or any other aftermarket variant, not even kinda sorta.

    The OEM ball joint is part number 43330-09510 but Toy has it locked out from sale in N. America. I've tried. Solution: get directly from Japan or the UAE. I have purchased many through Amayama.com an exporter in Japan and I just checked to see that there was no Japan availability but hundreds in the UAE starting around $44 ea. but shipping is costly so keep that in mind. For me having OEM parts is the preferred solution.

    My skills are ok, my tools are non existent for anything above general wrenching - I can replace all LCA no problem, but I don't have option to press out bushing or ball joints, that's the biggest problem, which means I need to use specialty shop to press out/in bushings and ball joints and that gets expensive fast + I would need a way to transport myself around.

    If I can get used OEM LCAs for decent price and rebuild them I might do that, otherwise I might save time (money) and just get aftermarket one and then rebuild old ones if aftermarket turns out to be biggest shit ever.

    Most likely aftermarket will last at least 60k miles/100k km in worst case scenario and for me that is about 4-5 years. Lots can happen in 4-5 years, I might not have that truck in 4-5 years or I might just rebuild old LCAs meanwhile :)

    I threw on Moog LCAs about a year ago and haven't been nice to them. They've held up well and I havent noticed any issues at all. Not even rust

    I haven't, for me rebuild is not an option at this time. Brand new OEM lower control arms are out as well, because of price. So I am left with aftermarket options and most likely thinking about Beck/Arnley will be my choice.

    If you get it, please don't forget to share images and how they compare to OEM.

    I gotcha. I think rebuilding is out for me too just based on time. Is it really worth rebuilding to save 120 bucks (if that truly is the ball joint it's 60 after tax and shipping and then the factory bushings around around 110). Found brand new oem control arm for 260 plus 30 shipping. Or beck/arnley for 112 plus 20 dollars shipping and tax. I wheel the truck pretty hard so strength is important but on the flip side I'm hoping in a couple years to be in a position to SAS or get that new Marlin crawler kit. I'll definitely keep posted what I do and if I go beck/arnley how they hold up

    Box says "Made in Taiwan" / Rock auto documents indicated country of origin as: Japan

    Will see how they last, but this is how right (passenger) side looks compared to OEM.
