anyone know if this is better than TRD?

Been rocking the TRD one for a while but as of late for some reason keep jamming my middle finger shifting trying to be smooth/gentle to the transmission

I can't say a hard pool/cueball and bare metal rod is exactly nice to the hand
all my previous manual cars were not like that; probably for a reason

am guessing the AJT may be heavier as well to make shifting easier

the amount of force needed to shift combined with the far throw, makes it easy to get injured
not fun if you work with your hands, rock climb, lift weights, etc.

I mean yeah I could just palm it and shove it into gear, but I try to feel what the transmission likes best and find myself in a hand position that keeps messing up one or two of my fingers, especially if you need to shift with any speed

I don't think the RA60F is the smoothest transmission. It only seems to like being shifted a certain way and feels crappier if done any other way

It is a doggish transmission for sure. Hurst/core short throw shifter helps a ton.

Solid engine and transmission mounts help a lot. Removing the clutch accumulator helps and hptuners allows rev hang delete in the ecu, which is huge.
