If I replace the Entune radio in my 2017 Tacoma with an aftermarket one with CarPlay, will it mess up the stock speakers?

Yes, and surprisingly they sound good to me, and I just don’t feel like sinking money into them when I like the sound. I just want a new head unit.

I would keep the stock head unit then as it's acoustically designed for the shitty paper cone speakers they come with.

No it does not and depending on the new head unit, it can sound pretty good.

Just make sure you pick a unit with the maestro adapter so you get information fed back to the MFD in the instrument cluster.

I just put a kenwood dnx997xr in my truck a couple weeks ago
