38k miles on my '16 OR and the rotors are warped. I get some pretty intense shaking when i hit the breaks, mostly at higher speeds and going downhill. Anyways, im looking to replace the OEM rotors with some better aftermarket ones, any recommendations?

I had a fair amount of weight in the truck routinely early on (bumpers/armor/wheels/tires/rack and tent) and went up/down big bear with dirt bikes and gear as well often. Coming down from Big Bear down its downright un-nerving right now.

Downshift? I went down some pretty steep grades out west this year pulling my jeep (3,500lbs) and didn't have to use brakes extensively. Engine was spinning up at 4,000+ RPMs at times though.

I've purchased Brembo OEM style replacements for other vehicles from Tire Rack. Just the standard vented (not slotted or drilled). Not too expensive

I'm at 28k and I got that weird shaking feeling as well. Mind sharing a pic of what the warped rotors look like?

I ask, because I am trying to do everything DIY to keep the truck in tip top shape and also save labor expenses. I also want to learn as much as I can for future vehicles (like when I have kids)

I actually have an appointment at the stealership tomorrow for the shaking while braking. Figured might as well since my warranty will be up in another 5k miles. I've had the shaking since about 20k, and now I'm over 30k and it's gradually getting worse. We'll see what they say.. :notsure:

Actually, what they'll probably say is that it was designed to shake and that all the vehicles on their lot do it too...

I get my rotors from brakeperformance.com They have plenty of options as far as slotted/dimpled/cross drilled and you can get them coated in Zinc to prevent rust. Plus they have a lifetime warranty on rotors

Actually I don’t really have any hair on my body. I feel like an otter but I look more like a dolphin. Is there any way I can mod this to where I’m a dolphin with legs and arms, or are we adhering to strict parameters?

Asking for a friend as well

i don't think you can take a picture of warped rotors but if you're feeling it its most likely the case, or your tires are off balance and need an alignment. is it only when you brake?
