I have 86,xxx miles on my truck and getting vibration when braking at high speeds. I want to go ahead and replace the rotors with a aftermarket set. Any suggestion of brands and model numbers of what to get?

I'm currently running my OEM rotors after getting them resurfaced. Right around 73K I replaced mine with EBC dimpled rotors. About 153K, those started vibrating and I re-installed the OEMs after getting them resurfaced at O'Reilly's. No vibrations thus far. They will measure the thickness to make sure the OEM rotors have enough material to resurfaced.

Brembo, much better than OEM. My original rotors warped badly, replaced them with Brembo (which I have been using for years on other cars) and no problems since. Asked local dealer to check the rotors three times when the truck was in there for covered service under my service plan, they kept telling me the rotors were fine. Finally took the wheels off and checked them myself, both were badly warped. 40k since installing the Brembos and they are rock solid.

I run DBA slotted units and I'm very happy with them. Towing up and down hills and never had an issue.

Personally, I ended up going disc conversion/BBK upgrade in the end. I know stoptech also makes nice Cryo treated stock size rotors (PN 126.44129CSL & 126.44129CSR) as well and those will last a lot longer than non cryo treated ones and take a good bit more abuse from towing and stuff like that.

Power stops drilled and slotted are nice. Or their coated ones that are not are made from much better metal than other brands

That’s because rotors don’t wrap. If you felt a pulsation while braking you likely felt material xfer from the pad caused by heat.

Over the counter rotors (cheap/basic) from any parts store definitely do and will eventually warp

PowerStop slotted and drilled. PowerStop truck pads. Done.

(ETA: I'd originally typed StopTech but meant PowerStop. I get these 2 backwards quite often. I've never tried StopTech. My apologies!)

I just picked up a set of rotors and pads from napa. Haven’t installed yet, but there was a deal where you order online and pick up at your local store and you got 10% off everything. There was a kit that came with 2 rotors and the better pads for right around $110. Individually the cost was $40 or so more than the kit. Glad i noticed that option when i was ordering. Now I’m not expecting this set to be as good a quality product as the more expensive brand mane stuff, but I think it should work fine for my needs.

On my previous cars (2001 Tundra and 2005 Subaru Forester XT) I have had luck with Centric - used by stoptech and you can also order with cryro treated. Recently on my wifes Honda Pilot I put on powerstop cross drilled and slotted rotors and pads - i think their Z23 package. I have been really impressed with them and if you do some google searches they have a good reputation as well. I haven't needed a rotor change yet, but would probably try one of those.

I have found some Brembo rotors part# 25859-43512/35320 on eBay for $109.95 and free shipping. That's about my budget I wanted to spend for these.
OEM's on eBay are about $150 a set. Can anyone verify that is the part# I need from someone that has bought them? The description states they are for my truck. Thanks for everyone's suggestions !

Cryo treated stoptechs would be best bet. I would not trust a drilled budget rotor whatsoever by the way, I would stick with a slotted rotor as they can much more easily crack especially when towing if they are drilled

I am not sure what you really mean by "rotors don't warp"? Rotors definitely can and will warp over time, or if a wheel is improperly tightened down. I have seen this with my own eyes on many vehicles. I can even demonstrate this with a frozen pizza in my toaster oven....straight round disc things, that have excessive heat applied to them, will warp.:)

Oops.....i went ahead and pulled the trigger on em. I tow maybe once a year but I drive 150 miles per day to and from work. We’ll see how they hold up on mostly highway commutes

Should be fine for that, its either racing or towing where people will usually crack them
