Aftermarket Seats?

So I was looking at ordering some leather TRD Pro headrests for my front seats and them bee-itches is expensive. After looking around it looks like I could get a simple reclining sport seat for the same price if not cheaper. Anyone done this ... or would this be entering the rice zone?

Yeah I would stick with something black/gray since all of my interior is the same. Nothing crazy.

 

Not rice zone, but I can't see those being too comfortable.

 

Are the OEM seats comfortable?

 

I got used to mine, but yeah they arent the most comfy but I dont have any complaints. Im not the tallest guy either so that probably helps my situation.

Its the bolstering of the sport seats that kill me. Every sports car I have been in, the side bolsters were always uncomfortable to me.

Idk about the seats you posted above, but Corbeau offers direct fit seat brackets to our trucks.

Match that up with their seats and it should all fit.

if the seats you linked will come with the brackets I say go for it. Or if you know how to make your own brackets.

 

I'm only 5'7" and have sat in sports cars with race-style seat and thought they were fine. I'd assume the OEM sportscar seats would be better than the aftermarket ones I linked to, but I can't imagine they would be that uncomfortable.

I guess I'd have to check to make sure those seats in the link are compatible with my factory seat belts ... because I'm sure not going to buy a harness or anything.

 

Don't get those seats but you're fine getting nice seats. I got a pair of corbeau Baja xrs seats and they start at 750 for both, up to 1250 for the ones with seat heaters, diaphragm for lumbar support, double locking catch, etc

Not that I'm not a fan, corbeaus are just lighter, more comfortable (because they're suspension seats), and they look like:

Yeah man, I've sat in them but haven't gotten them installed yet. Still waiting on a quote to build a rear half cage with a harness bar

 

I'd hope so since any of them cost $$
