I have a stock 2017 DCSB TRD OR 4x4 in quicksand that is my daily driver but i also use on weekend for mild off road use. I live in north eastern california and drive in snow in the winter as well as a lot of dirt/muddy roads. I also fish a lot and usually drive on some unmaintained forest service roads.

I purchased Icon 2.5in Reservoir CO's for the front with Camburg moog joint UCA's.
For the rear, I purchased Icon 2.0 reservoir shocks and an OME EL095R Dakar leaf pack.

My first question is, will I need to purchase extended brake lines, carrier bearing drop, sway bar relocation block, or a differential drop for my truck?

And second, Icon part number for the 2.0 reservoir shock (56503R) states it gives 0 to 1.5in of lift and the OME Dakar leaf pack says it'll provide 2in of lift on a 16+ tacoma. will there be issues using that shock with the leaf pack? and to make things more confusing, I noticed that on Wheeler's website, the same shock part number (56503R) staes it'll provide 0 to 2.5" of lift.

    Thank you for your help.

    extended brake lines=yes
    diff drop=no

leaf packs you can remove a leaf to reduce the lift, I think by 1/2", but might wanna double check that.

You dont need any of that gear you bought for mild off road use, snow, dirt, mud, or forest roads. I'd return it or sell it all and spend the money on getting to your destinations.

It's already an "Off Road". The driving you describe doesn't require any modding at all. Maybe you're just going for "Extra Bro" at the mall??

    Do what Barcelona said.

You dont need extended brake lines.
You dont need a dif drop
You can consider a CB drop if you experience vibes but shims may resolve it as well. You likely wont need anything

You do need to purchased the ECGS bushing and replace your driver side needle bearing, it WILL fail and cause vibes after the lift.

I’m set on putting those parts on.

Haha no malls where I’m at.

No I currently have LT265/75/R16 duratracs on the stick off road rims.

Ok cool I’ll have to look into getting the needle bearing.

Where you located Tony? Get some new tires, those look like racing slicks out there :)

There are a ton of threads on the ECGS bushing, the part is $60, the tool is $60 but you can find the tool sometimes here from other members who can let you borrow it. I think labor if you dont do it is around $200.

I did it myself and it was a good learning experience, replacing the bushing was easy, make sure you buy some extra CV seals, they are cheap.

How much lift requires a new needle bearing? Would less than 2” call for it?

I dont know. Some people have had it fail without a lift. The lift puts more pressure on it due to the cast dif but not data on specific lifts or heights. The mroe lift you have, likely the more pressure it puts on the bearing.

You can always replace the needle bearing after it fails. You will notice vibrations on the front end and when you put it in 4wd the vibrations will go away,

Good choice for snow, especially if you drive anywhere in the eastern Sierra/Modoc Plateau in winter!

    list is growing fast
I have the elo95r pack. Did not need ext brake lines. I did do the cb drop. No diff drop or shims though.

To your 2nd q: I did use what appears to be much longer shocks. My fox 2.0 rears are for 3.5-5.5" of lift. The pack gave me 2+ inches and I have plenty of up travel and lots of down travel. The icons may be different though. Check extended vs compressed length numbers.

Even honda-tech.com had reasonable people on it between 2002 and 2007.
