Has anyone installed one of the aftermarket TRD Pro grills on a 2019 yet? I see them listed as 2016-18 grills so I’m not sure if they fit on a 2019 or not...

Grille fits, but the TSS sensor is sketchy as hell IMO. I'd go OEM if you can manage but that's been hard to do since last year.

Sketchy how? Did the sensor change for 2019?

The location changes about 8 inches when you replace the grille and the OEM grille will still be a "stock" location. With an aftermarket grille, you have no idea if the retention, position, or angle is correct and with a system like this, that's not something I'd want to screw with. It will throw false positives enough with a factory config.

Has anyone commented that they have experienced problems with their TSS after installing an aftermarket grille?

None whatsoever. As far as I know the aftermarket sensor location is dang near identical to the OEM location on the pro grills.

Up to you, but I personally refused to pay $550 cdn (OEM grill and sensor) for a plastic grill.

What's the fascination with the pro grill anyway..? It does look good, but I wouldn't support some aftermarket crap China company.

I'm planning to replace the chrome trim with sr black trim. I think my 2018 grill will look much better with black trim.

Isn’t the SR black trim flat whereas the TRD grille is glossy? Might look okay but I’d rather have the texture match.

What I like about the pro grille is 2 fold, the solid flat black grill goes well with the off-road black fender flares and trim. I also like the old-school “Toyota” vs the new trademark emblem.

I'm in the same boat, trying to upgrade my 2019 off road with the Pro grill. Let us know how it goes.

Same here. I have a '18 with TSS and haven't had any issues with my ebay grille and OEM garnish. I use the adaptive cruise control quite often too.

i haven't heard of anyone having issues. our grilles operate just fine with moving the sensor. shouldn't have any problems.

The SR trim matches the rest of the black trim, so it looks oem. They all should come this way, nobody wants chrome on their vehicles anymore.

What sensor is located in the front grill.
I have a sensor at the inside near the rear view mirror. Is there another one in the grill?
Thanks, mine is a 2018 Limited

The TSS sensor is in the front grille. It’s used for functions such as adaptive cruise control and pre-collision detection.

Lift the Tacoma and add the grill so the net change in the Sensor isn’t that large. The fact that he garnish cost close to $100 is more absurd than the grill IMO.
