Needing to replace my y pipe has anyone ran a aftermarket y pipe? Any good brands or any other information about them?

Curious to know this as well.

I was quoted $300+ for an exhaust reroute to clear a tcase skidplate, so a Y-pipe for a bit more seems like a viable alternative that may also offer other benefits.
I've heard mixed things about the URD one but would like to think that if they're selling something, that it works without issue.

I just don't know how it works with smog.
-if you have to run an O2 spacer or not
-if it will fail smog or not, and if it is detectable such as by visual inspection, OBD2 port, etc.; visual may mean looking underneath with a mirror. Which if they're not well versed in the truck, #1 it will "still have cats" (higher up, main ones), and #2 not have that much visibility down there anyway with tcase skid installed

No idea the sound difference it makes. Hopefully not too loud or drony.
Installed a used TRD catback (OEM) that had highway drone; welding on a Vibrant 1141 resonator inline fixed that.
I've heard from someone with a Y-pipe, possibly headers, TRD catback, and supercharger that it was too loud, but that is more mods.

Boost, armor, lights, big tires, no savings.
JFR is not taking new orders. I sued one would have to be sourced. URD offers two version of the Ypipe. Regular and an Equal Length set up that is part of a complete system. I had the Doug Thorley until the hangers rusted off and decided to go with the regular URD version. All is well.

Whole exhaust is ceramic coated. We all know how beautiful the welds are but I'm going for longevity.
