    My wife is 8.5 years older than me and we've been together for 15 years now. Life is simple and sweet as we agreed to not have children (except for our dogs). This has been the best decision we've ever made!

    Our life is free of drama since we both knew early on exactly what we wanted out of a relationship. Age is irrelevant when it comes to relationships - all that really matters is that both people love each other and know what they want out of life.:)

    I'm 3 years older than my wife and we've been together 7 years, married almost 3. But before her, it seemed like every woman I dated was around 5-6 years older than me. I never felt it was a big deal.

    But... my brother takes the cake. He is in his 20's and his girlfriend is in her 50's... I kid you not. Its really weird. We all kind of gave him hell about it for awhile. But now we just let it be.

    I agree with you on that, we agree on what we want in the relationship and in our lives so that has made it easier. He has 2 grown kids (that is kind of strange that his sons are closer to my age than he is, but it doesn't cause any issues). I don't want kids of my own. We agree in religion terms and both don't care to get married again. We both enjoy our careers and have our own 'toys' and things we enjoy. Our hobbies are very similar and our main hobby is something we both are really into and absolutely love.
