I could be wrong but the install seems fairly straightforward. Maybe I can convince you to paint the rest of that chrome black in the process too.

And my Dad wonders why I spend so much time on this site:crazy:. This is one of the only decent sites left on the internet where you can find good people with the same thing burning a hole in their pocket.

I hate to admit it but I backed into a tree and it was 100% my fault. It was dark and my side mirrors were iced over and my back window was frosted over so I couldn't see too good but I still should've seen a damn tree.

ha yea i backed into a car that was parked behind a friends driveway and the car was black and it was really dark out and i didnt see it when i backed up and i destroyed the front fender on the car and i have a really small dent on my bumper but cant hardly see it, my hitch did most of the damage to the car:D but its ok man it happens to all of us.

Well I just got a quote from Satcher Ford and they want $550. That's to fix the bedside, repaint just what they have to (not the whole bedside) and get a new primed bumper for me to paint and install myself. That sounds like an ok price to me especially since the other place I took it to wanted just under $1000. Depending on how much shipping is I might go ahead and get Beefed Taco to make me a bumper with a hitch incorporated in it like this one. What do you guys think?

i think the new bumper would be cool, but if u wanna just get it fixed i can talk to a friend of mine that had his car painted by a place not sure what is called, that did a really great job and did it cheap because he knows the guy ill talk to him if u want and see how much he would want but i think it would be less that 550.

The 550 includes the 200 for a new bumper. It's really up to my dad where we take it and I think he wants to take it to Satcher Ford because they did a good job when they fixed his truck a while back. If I can get him to agree I'll probably pay the 350 for the body work and order the bumper from beefed. I'm just hoping he will buy the excuse that getting the bumper with the hitch made into it would be better and cheaper than paying $200 for a new bumper and another 150+ for a hitch. I've been meaning to put one on for a while and never got around to it so nows the perfect opportunity.

First time I checked out this thread. Didn't know some locals were hangin out here. When are you gonna do this meet? Would like to meet some local fellow Tacoma owners. Although I'm probably as old as some of your dads, but I'm still into nice rides. Hey Canada, stay away from that Firestone in Aiken. I had a bad experience there & alot of my co-workers @ Bridgestone have told me some stories of theirs. Anyway here's my ride.
